My life’s mantra is whatever makes life easy and user friendly. Dr. Oku has been my eye Dr for over 11 years. When its comes to the care of my eyes, that’s always been his specialty. I’m always able to get an appt very easily, without much wait or delay,even when I have an emergency.Dr Oku has an beautiful office in an easy to find location, right off the Pomona Frwy, on Atlantic Blvd.There’s ample,free parking,I like that.When I wanted to try contact lenses,I had some hesitation. He made it easy for me by allowing me to try them first,with a free trial pair,with no obligation to buy them if I change my mind.He even gave me plenty of contact lens solution samples. Once I tried them , I loved them. As I became older and started having problems reading up close, he made adjustments which allowed me to read up close,with contacts and without reading glasses, fantastic!!! Once when my contacts went down the drain, and I was in dire need,he gave me an emergency pair to hold me over till my order came in.What more can one ask,when it comes to Eye Care, Dr.Oku has definitely made my life easier.

Dr Oku was recommended to me by an acquaintance when I experienced a sudden ocular emergency. I was looking forward to a social function that same evening with Magic Johnson, Sandy Koufax, former teammate Fernando Valenzuela, and a great number of Dodger greats (past and present). I was grateful that Dr Oku was able to squeeze me in to see me that same day. He made sure that I got the medical care I needed and followed my progress until I was fully recovered. Unfortunately, I missed my function, because I wanted to go looking like a ball player, not a boxer caught looking the wrong way. I can now resume my PR appearances, thanks to Dr Oku and his great staff, Jimmy and Rosa. Thank you Oku Optometry, Go Dodger Blue!!!

Dr.Oku provides excellent eye services. His office open till 9 pm every Tuesday. It is very convenient for the patients like me working every day from 9-6. Dr.Oku also has a Lab on the premises to provide same day emergency service. His stuff was very patiently to answer my insurance questions, and help my son to choose his glasses which he likes them so much now. Dr.Oku’s office is clean, and has a nice selection of designer frames. I am very pleased with his services.

I just had my first eye exam in about 7 years. I’m not a big fan of doctors. I was treated extremely well by Dr Russ and the staff. With my first visit Dr Russ took his time with me, I didn’t feel rushed through. He treated me like a valued client, which I’m finding rare nowadays.
